Recently I have been chatting with a friend regards the numeric value on each Tarot card. With some reading on numerical power, and Kabbalah's Tree of life, Its sad it seems the secret significance of numbers, with the death of Pythagoras the great key to this science was lost. This is simply because the major secrets were never committed to writing, but were communicated orally to a few chosen disciples. These apparently dared not divulge their secrets to the profane, the result being that when death sealed their lips the arcana died with them.
Certain of the secret schools in the world today may possess some of the original numerical secrets, but there is no evidence of it.
To move on, I start reading one of my dusted books - Tarot and The Tree of Life (by Isabel Radow Kliegman). Its like examining the diamond in a rough, the connections between the Tarot's Major Arcana and the paths of Tree of life brought me into new light.
